CHICAGO, June 28 /PRNewswire/

As part of Chicago’s popular lakefront global warming exhibition, “CoolGlobes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet” opened today at Sears Tower featuring Mini CoolGlobes created and signed by celebrities including Sheryl Crow, Tobey Maguire, Chris O’Donnell and Adam Sandler, and politicians such as former Vice President Al Gore, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. John McCain, Sen. Joe Lieberman, Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
Celebrities and politicians decorated the basketball-sized Mini CoolGlobes provided to them for the Sears Tower exhibit in order to continue raising the public’s level of environmental awareness. The series of 40 celebrity Mini CoolGlobes joins an array of eight full-sized CoolGlobes at Sears Tower, like the more than 100 large globes appearing along the lakefront from The Field Museum north to Navy Pier.
Blue Man Group placed their three Mini CoolGlobes on display in their case, “signing” them with a blue handprint, to officially open the exhibit on June 27. Source: EarthTimes.org
